INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of NUCLEAR HYDROGEN PRODUCTION AND APPLICATIONS
Editor in Chief
Description
Any discussion of energy-related issues, such as air pollution, global climate change, and energy supply security, energy efficiency, raises the issue of future use of alternative fuels. Hydrogen offers large potential benefits in term of reduced emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases and improved efficiency in use from abundantly available feedstock. Nuclear energy is well placed to be a major contributor to large-scale hydrogen production.
The International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications (IJNHPA) provides a venue for communication among researchers and policy analysts on the latest experimental and analytical results, economic and policy assessments, and technology innovations related to nuclear energy’s role in an expanding hydrogen economy. Although nuclear technology will play its most significant role in hydrogen production, knowledge of hydrogen transportation, storage, and end use is necessary to understand the context in which nuclear energy will contribute to different hydrogen markets. Therefore, the journal takes a broad approach in helping readers learn the latest thinking in the science, economics, and environmental impacts of nuclear-generated hydrogen.
Objectives
The objectives of the journal are to establish an effective channel of communication between professionals, policy makers, government agencies, academia, and research institutions concerned with nuclear production of hydrogen and its applications. It also aims to provide authoritative, reliable information on hydrogen technologies, economics, strategies, and resources to industry and governments for use in policy analysis and decision making, including the contribution of nuclear hydrogen to sustainable development.
The International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications:
Readership
Professionals, academics, researchers, and policy makers.
Form of the publication
The International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications is a peer-reviewed journal of research articles, review papers, and technical notes related to the nuclear production of hydrogen and its applications. Topics include technological, regulatory, and policy aspects; risk estimation; and ecological consequences of nuclear-generated hydrogen.
The International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications is published in English by Inderscience Publishers. It has strict refereeing criteria and professional standards. In addition to the publication of scientific articles, the journal includes a review of publications (books and theses) and the announcement of related international conferences.
Content
The International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications publishes high quality papers relevant to nuclear hydrogen production technologies and applications, and closely related aspects of science, technology, engineering, and policy analysis. Original research and critical review papers on experimental, theoretical, and computational issues are welcome. When outstanding new advances are made, or when new areas have been developed to a definitive stage, special review issues will be considered.
